Short Bio
Mr. Gino A. Cabrera is a licensed psychometrician and a faculty member of the AB Psychology program of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) - Main Campus. Aside from his teaching assignments, he has also served as an extension facilitator to various programs inside and outside the university. He also lead the SMILE for HIs Extension Project, a joint project of SLSU and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office which aims for the total development of individuals with hearing impairment from the localities of Mauban, Lucban and Tayabas City in Quezon province. In addition, he has been invited as trainer and resource speaker to seminars and workshops organized by schools, church organizations, government and private agencies. As a researcher, he has presented a number of research papers in regional, national and international fora, some of which are published in the local research journal. In 2014, he was invited by the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Seminary in Lucban, Quezon to serve as one of its lay professors. Currently, he is pursuing Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology major in Forensic Psychology at the Far Eastern University of the Philippines - Manila through scholarship from the Commission on Higher Education.
