Short Bio

Nic is currently on study leave, pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Sociolinguistics and Discourse Analysis in Hong Kong and London at the University of Hong Kong and King's College London. He teaches English and Literature at SLSU. Aside from doing research in his field, he also writes for newspapers in the Philippines and lectures on research writing and scholastic journalism. His research interests include sociolinguistics, critical discourse analysis, and critical pedagogy.
